Yogi Adityanath has reacted to the controversy surrounding alleged irregularities in donations connected to the Ram Mandir, urging devotees to remain patient and saying that the truth will come out through the ongoing investigation.
Addressing a public programme in Ayodhya, Yogi said people should wait for around 15 more days and assured that if anyone is found guilty, action will be taken regardless of their position. What did Yogi say about the donation controversy?
Yogi stated that the government had ordered a Special Investigation Team (SIT) probe after a request from the temple trust. He said the investigation would establish the facts and that no guilty person would be protected.
His message to devotees was:
Maintain patience and dignity.
Do not believe attempts to damage Ayodhya’s image.
Submit any evidence directly to the SIT.
Wait for the investigation results before reaching conclusions.
“500 years of struggle” remark
Highlighting the historical importance of the Ram Mandir movement, Yogi said that generations had struggled for nearly 500 years for the temple and requested people to wait a little longer for the investigation outcome.
