Hyderabad: Minor fire triggered by suspected short circuit damages apartment in Uppal

Hyderabad: A minor fire broke out in an apartment in the Uppal Bagayath area on Thursday night after a suspected short circuit triggered flames inside a flat. No casualties were reported.

The fire majorly damaged furniture in a bedroom.
On receiving information, the fire department personnel rushed to the spot and immediately brought the blaze under control. They prevented it from spreading further to other parts of the building.

The timely response of firefighters helped avert a major mishap, residents said.
