A shocking incident at Lohagad Fort near Pune has taken a dramatic turn after the death of 26-year-old businessman Ketan Agarwal was initially reported as an accidental fall during a trekking trip. Police later arrested his 20-year-old fiancée Siya Goyal and her alleged partner Chetan Chaudhary, claiming the case was a planned murder.
According to investigators, Ketan allegedly fell into a deep gorge at Lohagad Fort on June 18 during an outing. Police say the incident was first presented as an accident, but further investigation raised suspicion.
Who Was Ketan Agarwal?
Ketan Agarwal was a Pune-based businessman and director associated with his family’s business. Reports state that he was engaged to Siya Goyal, and the couple was preparing for marriage.
The engagement had reportedly taken place earlier in the year, and the families were making arrangements for a grand wedding.
Police Allegation: Planned Attack at Lohagad Fort
Police officials investigating the case allege that Siya Goyal and Chetan Chaudhary planned Ketan’s killing. Investigators claim the duo allegedly pushed Ketan into the gorge and attempted to make it appear like a trekking accident.
