Two men were arrested by the Hyderabad Commissioner’s Task Force after police allegedly recovered illegal country-made pistols and ammunition from their possession. The arrests were made during a vehicle interception operation based on a tip-off.
Arrested suspects
Police identified the arrested persons as:
Mudassir Hussain alias Shah Baba (24) — resident of Khilwat, Hyderabad
Ameer Khan (26) — resident of Degloor Naka, Nanded
According to police, both accused have previous criminal backgrounds and were known to each other.
Weapons recovered
During the operation, officials seized:
Two country-made pistols
Seven live rounds of ammunition
A Baleno car used by the accused
The recovery was made after police stopped the vehicle on Mailardevpally Road, Hyderabad, following specific information received by the Task Force.

Where the illegal firearms were obtained from
Whether they were linked to any criminal network
If the weapons were intended for use in any planned crime
