yderabad, July 20: Panic gripped Hyderabad’s Domalguda area after three minor girls from migrant worker families went missing, prompting the police to launch a large-scale search operation. Authorities are tracking their movements through CCTV footage and coordinating with multiple agencies to locate them safely.
Family Members Report Girls Missing
According to the police, the three girls belong to families of migrant workers from Chhattisgarh who are currently residing in Farid Basti, Domalguda. The girls reportedly left their homes on Sunday without informing their parents and did not return.
After searching for them on their own for several hours, worried family members approached the Domalguda police station and lodged a missing persons complaint.
CCTV Footage Provides Important Clues
As part of the investigation, police examined surveillance footage from nearby areas. The footage reportedly shows the girls boarding an auto-rickshaw from Himayatnagar before travelling to Kacheguda Railway Station.
Further CCTV footage later captured them at Secunderabad Railway Station, leading investigators to suspect that they may have boarded a train and travelled outside Hyderabad.
Massive Search Operation Underway
Following these developments, Hyderabad police formed special investigation teams to trace the missing girls. Officers are reviewing additional surveillance footage, gathering information from railway authorities, and checking passenger movement at railway stations.
Police have also alerted authorities in neighbouring districts and Chhattisgarh, as investigators believe the girls may have attempted to return to their native state.
Police Appeal to the Public
Officials have urged members of the public to immediately inform the nearest police station if they have any information regarding the whereabouts of the three girls. Police have assured the families that every possible effort is being made to locate the children safely.
The investigation remains ongoing, and no evidence of foul play has been officially confirmed at this stage. Authorities are continuing to examine all available leads.
